The design of this lamp was inspired by the antique art deco 3 Chain glass light shade.  

These ceiling lights were all the rage in the early part of the 20th century but fell out of favor in the 1940's.

I fell in love with this glass shade when I saw it.  I knew I needed to design a lamp worthy of the shade.
