Steampunk and Other Props
What is Steampunk?
According to Wikipedia;
Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery.
I see why people have referred to some of my work as "Steampunk" since much of what I have done reflects the styling of the industrial and Victorian age.
Some of the pieces below are my designs, and some were done at customer requests. They were all fun to work on.

Artist's Special
I call this piece, "Creature Comforts". I
was inspired in October to create a piece that belonged in a mad scientist lab, or a Jules Verne novel.
The alien embryo in the center glass specimen jar is illuminated from below for an eerie effect or from the electrified gas lanterns to the rear for a softer ambient glow.
The gas valve on the right has been converted into a 3 position rotary switch to select from the eerie, ambient, or all on modes.
Commissioned Piece
This was a commissioned piece for a author and the publishing of his new book.
We started with a few discussions, then I made some sketches for him. From there I proceeded to make these pieces for him.
