This lamp is a fusion of an antique Victorian brass vanity mirror and a copper mixing bowl.  The interior of the bowl has been polished to a near mirror finish, while the exterior of the bowl and the brass stand have been left in their original state. 

The bowl has a 45° pivot angle to direct more light downward toward your work surface or straight out for more room illumination.
